Lonnie Brooke has retired from his position as City of Roseville Parks and Recreation Director after serving for 32 years.

Lonnie has always been an ardent supporter of the John Rose Minnesota OVAL and was instrumental in keeping the OVAL open and operating. This is especially true when the chiller equipment failed and expensive repairs may have led to closing the facility. Instead, a generous donation was secured and Lonnie ensured that repairs were made and the facility continues to operate.
