KESELEY SWEEPS USA BANDY YEAR END AWARDS
Jon Keseley picked up where he left off last year, taking home another boatload of league awards for his outstanding 2014-15 bandy season.

His 36 regular season goals were double the number scored by second place Justin Milo (18 goals) to give him the Elite League Scoring Title. He also added a Manager of the Year honor (along with co-manager John Arundel) for successfully starting a new expansion team, and also the prestigious Player of The Year Award. Keseley’s Dinkytown Dukes also captured the USA Championship, adding the Gunnar Cup to his list of achievements this year. Congrats to Jon Keseley for his truly remarkable and memorable season.


Mike Lickteig was the Playoff MVP for is outstanding performance in the playoffs, scoring key goals in leading the Dukes to the Gunnar Cup. 


Mike Carmen of the Mississippi Mojo took the Rookie for the Year award for his outstanding first outdoor bandy season.

Carmen finished third in league scoring (15 goals) and was named to Team USA. 


Tim Roth, John Hedenstrom and Jeff Arundel were awarded Bill Wood Sportsman Awards for their longtime service to USA Bandy. Roth has started as a player and manager in the early 1980’s and has been a highly respected referee for 25 years. Hedenstrom started out as a player, evolved into a top referee and has become a world class skate sharpener. He is directly responsible for getting the majority of the players on bandy blades and bandy radius and flat grind sharpening. He serves as Team USA’s technical director.

Jeff Arundel is known as “the last man standing” as he incredibly is the last player to have continuously played in the league since the inaugural USA Bandy League in 1980.

He played on several national teams in the 1980’s and been a generous supporter of the league for 34 years.
